CARE and the Berlin agency Kalteswasser are developing an online quiz for Germany, Luxembourg and Austria for World Water Day
For the World Water Day, to which the UN has dedicated March 22 each year since 1992, and for the United Nations International Year of Sanitation 2008, the Kalteswasser agency, specializing in digital marketing and multimedia, has implemented an interactive online quiz for CARE Germany, Luxembourg and Austria. The objective is to sensitize people to the severe lack of water in the Third World on the part of its users and to show them the significance of water as the elixir of life.
Kalteswasser undertook the conception, design and implementation of the quiz, which is to start in May and run until the fall. “Even just based on our name, we would have felt obligated to support CARE in this matter“, said Jörg Stehle, executive director of Kalteswasser, whose name translated means “cold water”. On the CARE website participants learn about successful projects dealing with the subject of water through an animation with questions and thereby gain insight into the severe lack of water in the Third World.
By registering through email and recommending the quiz to friends or acquaintances, registered participants can actively help promote the World Water Day, for which a series of useful information and attractive prizes beckon.
